Torrance Community Council are working to represent our Village and your views with East Dunbartonshire Council in our Local place plan.
Your feedback to this survey will inform our priorities for the coming year.

Life in our Community

Our Village relies on volunteers. All the clubs, groups and societies even Torance Community council are run by volunteers. We want to understand how we can better support community activity and what we can do for you.

Would anyone in your household be able to assist?

As Community groups of volunteers, we are always looking for a helping hand especially from the younger members of the community.

Would anyone 16 or over in your household be willing to volunteer for occasional tasks?

Examples- helping at Christmas events, Gala Parade, market stall, driving a neighbour to appointments, path clearing, litter picking, maintaining our planted spaces, monthly lunch club or other community events.

Transport and Roads

Many residents express concern around travel and transport.

Housing and Development

The Community council can represent your views on future growth in the Local Authority plans.
